Nate & Elli Miller
About Us

Nate Miller
Nate wrote and illustrated his first (self) published book at age of six—Soopr Maoos—consisting of three stapled pages and 20 words written in crayon. Since then, Nate has written a number of short stories and articles and has also learned how to spell “mouse.” Nate lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Elli, and their chunky baby boy. When not working on some new academic or business venture, Nate can be found perusing the books of his favorite authors, Lewis, Pratchett, and Bradbury. His writing has been published in American Reformer, Catalyst Magazine, and the New Saint Andrews Blog and Newsletter.
Elli Miller
Surrounded by siblings with artistic flare in painting and photography, Elli quickly discovered her creative outlet would be the written word. Before marrying Nate, she was in the middle of an MFA in creative writing. After marrying Nate, she finished her grad work, and welcomed their son, Danny, a couple months before her last week of classes. She is editing what started as her grad thesis: a middle-grade novel currently called, The Cursed Fountain. Besides writing and keeping Danny alive, Elli likes to think she could win a reality baking show, and practices different recipes for her and Nate’s giant family gatherings every Sunday.
